How quickly can you clean up an infected WordPress site?
Many cleanups are completed within 24 hours, but we suggest allowing 3–5 business days for a more complete review depending on the severity of the issue, the hosting environment, and how quickly access is provided.
What access do you need to get started?
At minimum we usually need WordPress admin and hosting access. Depending on the setup we may also need cPanel, SFTP or FTP, DNS or domain access, Cloudflare access, and any backups you may already have. We will send a clear checklist once we review your situation.
Do you work on the live site or a staging site?
That depends on the situation. In some cases we create backups and work in staging first. In other cases, especially when the issue is more contained, we may work directly on the production site. Either way a backup is secured before we touch anything.
Can you guarantee my site will never be hacked again?
No — and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't being straight with you. What we can do is clean up the current issue, harden the site, monitor it during the 90-day warranty period, and give you practical recommendations to lower future risk.
What if my host suspended the site or it has been blacklisted?
We can help with the cleanup and security side of the process while assisting you to work through reinstatement with your host or service provider.
Will this include ongoing maintenance?
This is a one-time cleanup and hardening service. Ongoing maintenance is separate, though we will recommend a care plan when it makes sense to help reduce future issues.
What do I receive when the work is finished?
You receive a post-service report outlining what was found, what was done, and recommended next steps to help protect the site going forward.
What does the 90-day warranty cover?
If the site is infected again within 90 days of the completed cleanup, we will address it under the warranty terms. During that window we also keep a closer watch for issues that may not be obvious from the site itself.
