General Business Questions
Common questions about working with WPSiteOps — from contracts and billing to response times and hosting compatibility.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No contracts — ever. All of our plans are month-to-month or annual with no long-term commitment required. You're free to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
Do you work with my hosting provider?
Yes — we work with all major WordPress hosting providers including GoDaddy, Bluehost, SiteGround, WP Engine, Cloudways, HostGator, and more. If you're unsure whether we support your host just reach out and we'll confirm before you sign up.
Is there a setup or cancellation fee?
There's no setup fee for any of our plans — no hidden costs at all. WPSiteOps is a pay-as-you-go service. We do not have any cancellation fees. When you cancel your account you'll be billed only for the current cycle and you won't be billed again.
How quickly will you respond to my support requests?
We typically respond to all support inquiries within one business day, Monday through Friday, 9am – 6pm ET. For urgent issues like a hacked or down site we prioritize those requests and aim to respond as quickly as possible.
What if something breaks on my site after an update?
We take a full backup before making any updates so if something goes wrong we can restore your site quickly. Fixing issues caused by updates we perform is included in your plan at no additional charge.
How do I get access to my monthly report?
Your monthly report is delivered directly to your email inbox at the end of each billing cycle. It covers everything we did that month including updates applied, security scan results, uptime statistics, and any issues we resolved.
Plan & Service Questions
Everything you need to know about our care plans, one-time services, and what’s included at each level.
What's the difference between your three care plans?
Our Essential Care plan covers the core maintenance every WordPress site needs — updates, backups, and uptime monitoring. Advanced Care adds security scanning, malware monitoring, and performance optimization. Total Care is our most comprehensive plan and includes everything in Advanced Care plus malware removal, quarterly site health audits, and our fastest response times.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Absolutely. You can change your plan at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What do you need from me to get started?
We keep onboarding simple. Once you sign up we'll reach out within one business day and ask for your WordPress admin login and hosting account access. That's typically all we need to get everything set up and running.
What happens if my site gets hacked while on a plan?
If your site gets hacked, we've got you covered. Total Care clients get malware removal included at no extra charge. Advanced Care clients receive 50% off and Essential Care clients receive 25% off our one-time Hacked Site Recovery service. Either way we move fast to get your site clean and back online.
How is the annual plan different from monthly?
The annual plan includes everything in the monthly plan at a discounted rate — you effectively get two months free when you pay annually. There are no additional features exclusive to the annual plan — it's simply the more cost-effective option for clients committed to ongoing maintenance.
Do your one-time services include a follow-up report?
Yes — every one-time service includes a before and after summary so you can see exactly what was done. For services like Speed Optimization we provide before and after PageSpeed scores. For Hacked Site Recovery we provide a clean scan report confirming the site is malware free.
Does the accessibility setup guarantee ADA compliance?
No plugin or overlay tool can guarantee full ADA compliance — anyone who tells you otherwise is overpromising. However, what we provide is a meaningfully first-step in improving your site's accessibility and demonstrates a documented good-faith effort toward inclusion. For most small business websites this is a practical and cost-effective starting point. Achieving full manual accessibility remediation is a much larger project and would need to be scoped and quoted separately.
