The Problem We Saw
Years of building websites taught us a hard truth.We never set out to build a WordPress maintenance service until we saw how much our clients needed it. We just wanted to build great websites. For years our team at Buzz Clique designed and developed sites for businesses across the country — retail shops, restaurants, healthcare providers, contractors, and everything in between.
But somewhere after the launches and the handoffs, we kept seeing the same thing happen. Sites would slowly lose their shine. Not dramatically, not all at once — just quietly. Updates ignored. Backups skipped. Security patches missed. Then one day something would break, or worse, someone would get hacked. We’d get the call. We’d fix it. And watch it happen again somewhere else.
After the hundredth time, we stopped asking why small businesses weren’t maintaining their sites and started asking why there wasn’t a better system to do it for them. That question is what started us offering maintenance to our clients years ago.
