Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) defines the standards and expectations that apply to all clients who engage WPSiteOps, a brand operated by Buzz Clique LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), for WordPress maintenance, support, and related services. By engaging our services you agree to comply with this Policy in full.

This Policy should be read alongside our Privacy & Cookies Policy, our Terms, Conditions & Disclaimer, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference and form part of the overall agreement between you and WPSiteOps.

2. Our Approach to Client Service

WPSiteOps is committed to providing professional WordPress maintenance and support to all clients regardless of the nature, subject matter, or viewpoint expressed on their website. We do not discriminate against or refuse service based on a client’s political views, religious beliefs, social positions, or any other matters of personal opinion or belief — even where those views may differ from our own.

Our singular focus is on delivering quality service. The only circumstances under which we will decline or terminate service are those outlined in this Policy — specifically where a website’s content or activities may be illegal or potentially harmful in any jurisdiction that has access to that content.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

WPSiteOps will not knowingly provide services in support of any website whose content or activities are illegal, or that could reasonably be construed as illegal, in any jurisdiction that has access to that website. This includes but is not limited to websites that:

  • Distribute, promote, or facilitate content that violates local, state, federal, or international law
  • Engage in or facilitate fraud, deception, phishing, or other financially harmful activities
  • Distribute malware, spyware, ransomware, or any other malicious software
  • Facilitate the sale or distribution of illegal goods or controlled substances
  • Host or distribute content that exploits or harms minors in any way
  • Engage in unlawful harassment, threats, or stalking of any individual or group
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others in a manner that violates applicable law
  • Facilitate unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, or data
  • Violate any applicable data protection or privacy laws
  • Engage in any other activity that is unlawful or that exposes WPSiteOps or its clients to legal liability

Because laws vary across jurisdictions and the internet is accessible globally, we evaluate potential violations with consideration of the broadest reasonable legal interpretation of the content or activity in question.

4. Plugin and Software Compatibility

WPSiteOps will make every reasonable effort to support the tools, plugins, and software installed on a client’s website. However, not all third-party tools are created equal and the quality, security, and long-term viability of plugins and software varies considerably.

Plugins or software that are abandoned by their developers, no longer receive active updates, are no longer compatible with current versions of WordPress, PHP, or database software, or that have been effectively sunsetted with no future development planned may reach a point where they can no longer be supported or maintained. In these situations WPSiteOps will make every reasonable effort to notify the client of the issue and the potential impact it may have on their website’s stability and future.

WPSiteOps is not responsible for website failures, security vulnerabilities, or service disruptions that result from a website’s reliance on unsupported, outdated, or abandoned third-party software. We are not obligated to continue servicing a website that has reached a technical dead end due to its dependence on software that has no viable path forward.

5. Violation Discovery and Service Termination

If WPSiteOps discovers or is made aware that a client’s website contains content or engages in activities that violate this Policy, we will assess the nature and severity of the violation to determine the appropriate course of action.

Standard Violations

For violations that do not pose an immediate legal risk or threat to others, it is our preference to provide the client with up to thirty (30) days advance notice before terminating service. This notice period is intended to give the client a reasonable opportunity to secure comparable services from another provider and ensure a smooth transition. WPSiteOps is not required to continue performing active maintenance work during this notice period if doing so would conflict with our obligations or values.

Severe Violations

For violations that are severe in nature — including but not limited to content that is actively harmful, exploitative, or poses an immediate legal risk — WPSiteOps reserves the right to suspend or terminate service immediately and without advance notice. The determination of severity is made solely at the discretion of WPSiteOps.

Effect of Termination on Refunds

Service terminations resulting from a violation of this Policy are subject to the terms outlined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Termination due to a policy violation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund of any prepaid service fees.

6. Reporting a Concern

If you are aware of a website we are servicing that you believe to be in violation of this Policy, or if you have concerns about the content or activities of any website associated with WPSiteOps, please contact us in writing at support@wpsiteops.com. We take all concerns seriously and will review them accordingly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. When changes are made we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
